The
Structural Plan of Business Practice of the Faculty of Economic and
Administrative Sciences at Universidad de La Sabana, optimizes the
benefits generated by the University, the entrepreneurs and the
practitioners. This is shown as follows:
The entrepreneurs gain benefit from and get into close contact with the
University thorough the provision of professional personnel equipped
with a high manoeuvring and learning capacity, diagnoses and studies on
the condition of each company, organizational development programs based
on the entrance diagnostic, continuity of these projects through time,
occasional invitations to lectures on campus and submission of the
particular cases developed by the student in each company.
The University, through the Faculty, will gain benefit in getting
feedback from the students and the entrepreneurs in order to undertake,
at a later stage, programs of incremental improvement which, in turn,
will enhance its competitive capacity. The University will be able to
substantiate work lines where the oral history and the cases of
Colombian companies are structured. In addition, it will have absolute
control on the state of the different variables and programs composing
the Business Practice.
The students will be provided with better tools and with a framework to
incubate in them a wider entrepreneurial vision, projection and growth
in order to enhance their capacity for management response as well as to
facilitate their adaptation to work life. This is possible by means of
the diagnostic of each participant’s managerial potentialities, the
development of a strategic type of managerial role-play, the formation
in higher management and research, the tutors’ support and the
development of projects of practical application in the workplace.
Personal growth of the students is, in short, the great endeavour to
which the Faculty is committed. |
