To explain the norms ruling the process of entrepreneurial practice of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences

Talk with the students, with participation of the Coordination of Entrepreneurial Practice

Talk with the students, with participation of the Coordination of Entrepreneurial Practice and the tutors of the Practice Seminar

This will be done by means of interviews, role plays and tests. The results will be then handed over confidentially

To explain the structure and the way in which the different reports that the students in Entrepreneurial Practice must produce for their tutors are to be processed

Lecture with the aid of audiovisual equipment, aimed at providing the foundation for the processing of the different reports required by the University.

To train the students in decision making and simulation supported by Information Systems

The students will have PC’s as working tools during their training stage in advanced tools of Information Systems management.

To train the students in handling interviews and in processing their competence-based CV

Group workshops and individual sessions of interview simulations

To develop in the students a strategic type of Management Role Play that will enable them to unify all the concepts learned during previous semesters.

Interdisciplinary group work designed on the bases of the participants’ skills. Simulation games.

To train the practitioners in themes related to high management, team work, negotiation and others, in accordance with the selected lecturers’ abilities and expertise.

Among the pre-selected themes there are workshops about the Colombian Completive Environment, Entrepreneurial Competitiveness, eCommerce, eBusiness, Call Center – complex thought, design of high performance organizations and conflict management, among others

To accompany students by means of counselling and follow-up by Academic and Entrepreneurial Tutors.

Each Academic Tutor will act as consultant for a pre-defined group of practitioners regarding both the assignments that they will have to complete and their professional development. To do this, the tutor will keep in touch with the student or with his/her Entrepreneurial tutor (delegate tutor within the company where the student works as a practitioner); the interaction will be via e-mail or telephone.

Information feeding via Internet

The students will be supplied with interesting information or website addresses which generate a permanent dynamics of questioning and analysis of the world environment.

In order for the program to achieve the stated objectives, a data base will be generated; this will contain the records corresponding to the student’s code, first name, family name, e-mail, contracting company, company address, entry date, name of immediate boss, contact telephone 1 (office), contact telephone 2 (home); this information should be sent via e-mail by the student to Martha Monsalve, in Excel format and independent boxes from A to J.

Furthermore, the student will send as a annex a Word document describing his/her position, main functions within the organization, levels of responsibility and action plan for the semester (Timetable of Activities) including delivery dates based on his/her entry date and on the programming that was has been sent previously to each student via e-mail.  All of this in order to keep said program under strict surveillance and to be able to achieve the stated objectives.
