In order to complete the program,
students who are working on their Internship will
produce a series of reports based on their
evaluation of the company in which they acquire work
experience throughout the semester.
These reports will have to be
handed in on the dates assigned at the end of this
document and must fulfill some simple requisites in
terms of both form and content, among which the
following are worth mentioning:

The following are brief
explanations of the assigned reports:
1.
Organizational Diagnosis:
The
organizational diagnosis consists on the evaluation
of the enterprise where the student is doing his/her
practice, based on the corresponding guides. These
guides describe the steps to be followed in the
diagnosis.
It
is mandatory to analyze the following areas:
Administrative, Human Resources, Manuals and
Proceedings, plus the specific performance area
(Operations, Security, etc.)

Sector Diagnosis:
On
the other hand, the sector analysis is to be carried
out in compliance with the guidelines presented in
the material, and be based on Porter’s
competitiveness diamond.

3.
Change Plan
The
report should not be longer than 15 pages.
It must describe the area in the company
that could improve and the opportunities for
improvement detected, as well as the
concrete action plan to undertake the
improvement process (What, How, Who, When,
How much).
4.
International Market Perspective
This report is a sector
diagnosis of the company with an
International perspective, which should
include a description of the company’s
market at the International level, focusing
on one Country.
Two
months after the students have started their
practice, regardless of whether they have or
have not been visited by their supervisor,
they must ask their head boss to answer the
attached
questionnaire and to send it
to the internships office. |
Note: In the case of
the International Business Administration Program,
students with a six month practical work experience
must present: When a
student enrolled in the International Business
Administration Program carries out an internship in
two companies, one semester each, he will present
the three reports for each one of the companies
within the established terms.
Note:
International Business Administration Program,
students with a one year internship in the same
company must present: If the student is
developing its internship in an English speaking
country, all his/her reports should be done in
English.
